Pergolide Survey

ECIR Group is the largest field-trial database for PPID and EMS. It is dedicated to the latest research, diagnosis and treatment information, as well as dietary recommendations for these horses. This survey will aid in the further understanding of the pergolide dosages that are used by owners in conjunction with their veterinarians. 

This survey collects data on horses treated with pergolide for Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction (PPID), commonly known as Equine Cushing's Disease.

It is helpful to have specific information on-hand before you start.

• Equine Date of Birth or estimate
• Insulin Resistance diagnosis date or estimate (if applicable)
• PPID diagnosis date or estimate
• Pergolide start date or estimate 
• Pergolide stop date (if applicable)
• Date of equine's death (if applicable)

If you've had an equine with PPID that is now deceased, please include them in the survey.  If you have more than one horse that was treated with pergolide, you can complete the survey multiple times. Use one entire survey per equine.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, but less time if you have the dates ready.
