Powder: 2 grams per day, providing 1,000 iu per day, or at the advice of your veterinarian.
Gel caps: 5 gel caps per day, providing 2,000 iu per day, or at the advice of your veterinarian.
Description:
Vitamin E supplementation may be helpful for horses that eat hay exclusively, or have a need for additional Vitamin E, based on a medical condition.
Powdered Vitamin E: For best results, mix with oil before feeding.
Gel caps already contain oil and do not need extra oil added.
Density:
Powder: approximately 2.75 grams per US teaspoon, giving 1,375 ius per day.
Gel caps: each gel cap is 400 ius.
