Glucosamine recommended daily amount is 6-10 grams per day, or at the advice of your veterinarian.
Description:
Glucosamine has been a mainstay for supplementation for equine arthritis for many years. It is commonly paired with other supplements, such as chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid, Mov-Ease, MSM, ASU, or turmeric.
Glucosamine is available in two different forms: glucosamine HCl and glucosamine sulfate. There is debate as to which is most effective, or if they are equally effective.
Both the glucosamine HCl and the glucosamine sulfate that I carry are USP grade.
Density:
5 grams is about 1 teaspoon.
