Top 3 Aminos:

Limiting Amino Acids:

Amino acids (AA) are the building blocks of proteins. There are two types of amino acids:

  • Essential amino acids: AA that the body cannot synthesize and must be taken in from the diet.

  • Non-essential amino acids: AA that the body can synthesize from other amino acids

Proteins are synthesized in a linear fashion. Think of stringing beads on a thread, with each amino acid being a different color. If the body is low on one particular amino acid, then the protein cannot be formed because the “recipe” or “pattern” cannot be fulfilled.

Historically, research has shown that the top 3 limiting amino acids are Lysine, Methionine, and Threonine.

Top 3 Aminos provides these amino acids. The formulation of this is:

20 Grams gives you:

L-Lysine  - 10 grams

DL-Methionine - 5 grams

L-Threonine – 2 grams

While all body systems are affected by protein amounts, the body systems that are *most* affected are the muscles.

Top 3 Aminos was designed to give nutritional support for the maintenance of healthy muscles.

Top 3 can be fed at the rate of 1-2 tablespoons per day, or as directed by your veterinarian. It is available in a 2 lb size, or the value 5 lb size.
